Golnesa Gharachedaghi, known to millions of fans as G.G., is one of the stars of the hit Bravo reality television series, Shahs of Sunset (2012). The highly-rated show features the captivating lives of six young Persian-American friends as they navigate through life, love and the pursuit of happiness in Beverly Hills. The show is produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions for Bravo. G.G. was born and raised in Los Angeles by her parents, who came to the United States from Iran in 1975, after getting married. Her father operates one of the most successful boutique architecture firms on the West Coast and her mother works in the Los Angeles textile and garment industry. Her older sister is an entrepreneur, who runs several businesses, ranging from real estate to fashion and beauty. While attending high school, G.G. was an accomplish gymnast and trained for placement on the U.S. Olympic team competing in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. After deciding she did not want to pursue a career as an amateur or professional athlete, G.G. graduated from high school and went on to pursue a degree at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She received her certification in addiction treatment counseling and went on to help establish a halfway house to help people struggling with alcohol and drug dependency. A self-professed fashion diva and shopaholic, G.G. began designing a collection of couture. She then went into business with her sister to start "G.G.'s Extensions", that offers a variety of premium synthetic and human hair extensions that can be worn without clips, tape or glues and do not damage the hair using a new, patented technology. G.G. currently resides in Los Angeles.
