Cedric Magnin is a swiss born lawyer & producer. His first foray into film producing was with independent films Five Thirteen - 513, starring Danny Trejo (Machete), Gary Dourdan (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) and Tom Sizemore (Black Hawk Down) ; AWOL-72 starring Luke Goss (Death Race), rapper Rza (American Gangster) and Bokeem Woodbine (Total Recall) and Your Move also starring Luke Goss and Robert Davi (The Expendables 3). Magnin began his career as a lawyer, having graduated from the University of Geneva Law School with a Law Degree, followed by a Post Graduate Degree in Silicon Valley from Santa Clara University School of Law in California, with a Master's in Intellectual Property emphasizing Tech laws. After launching a very successful legal career practicing Criminal and Intellectual Property, Magnin nurtured his creative side by creating ArtProd in 2010. ArtProd organized events for mega-film retailer Blockbuster and promoted short films to give up-and-coming filmmakers an important window to consumer audiences. Magnin grew up surrounded by the entertainment business: his mother was crowned Miss Switzerland in 1961, his father was a lawyer representing French and American film producers, his grandfather owned a chain of movie theaters, and his grandmother was an opera singer. Formerly a nationally-ranked Master chess player, Magnin uses his spare time to raise funds for various charities such as Amicitia (Neuroscience Research), AmFar (AIDS) , The Leonardo Di Caprio Foundation (Environment & Endangered Species) and the Pasteur Institute ( Medical research ). He also travels extensively culling ideas for his films from various cultures.
