Leo Sopicki

Leo Sopicki is a writer/producer known for his work on Storming the Castle(2014), Effigy (2013) and The Vineyard (2014). An Army veteran, he made his first films in high school and college, but spent seven years in public relations and twenty-five in IT, before returning to his love for writing and film. An early adopter of the communications potential of the Internet, he is a skilled technologist, technical writer, and blogger. Born in Chicago, his parents joined the mass migration to California in the 1950s. He grew up in Los Angeles, attending UCLA, where he majored in History and demonstrations. He recently relocated to Austin, Texas, the nation's southern film capital, where he plans on writing and producing and helping to "Keep Austin Weird".
