Archer Hanak is a smart friendly Golden Border. He was born on April 28, 2011, but Hillary and Brian didn't find him til July, when they went to the Lacy Street Dog Pound and saw him sitting in a cage, ready to be adopted. It was closing time at the pound so they had to come back in the morning and hope that no one else got there before them. Luckily, he was there the next morning waiting for them! So they put him in another cage while the paperwork was being done, and the howling started! The lady at the desk told them that Archer had been adopted before and returned to the pound for howling. Not discouraged, Archer finally got his home. About four days later, Archer was diagnosed with Parvo and was hospitalized for 1 week. Dr. Feingold in Oxnard was amazing and really took great care with him and literally brought him back to life. Archer has gone on to accomplish Agility classes with Zoom Room Hollywood, and is also enrolled in Hollywood Paws.
