Jatin Saraf, born and raised in Mumbai, has acted in several short films and Off-Off Broadway plays in NYC. It all began with a lot of boredom from the job and a desire to become famous. All he could remember was the role of 'Lord Bharat' that he had played in 'Modern Ramayan', a play staged in his engineering college festival. The search for weekend acting classes led to B.I.H. Actors Studio, NYC from where he completed the Graduate program. Then on wards, it was programming on weekdays and auditions on weekends. His first performance on stage was as Principal characters in the Off-Off Broadway play 'Angels Giants Monsters' at Medicine Show Theatre, NYC. More stage performances, roles in short films, commercials, web series. Life had changed. He was now a Software Engineer by day and an Actor by night but that was not enough. He moved back to India and quit the IT job to pursue full-time acting. A series of workshops with theatre director Sunil Shanbag(Mumbai), Prof. Praveen Bhole(Pune) helped him develop the craft. His most challenging performance has been as 'Luka' in Anton Chekov's 'The Bear', staged at Nehru Memorial, Pune. He was last seen in the short film 'Aamina' which was distributed by Pocket Films and broadcasted on NDTV Profit channel.
