Dominican-American actress Marie Stark began working in theater and dance at an early age. She fueled her passion by working with theater companies like 'Town and Country Playhouse' and dancing for the NBA D-League Association. She further committed to her craft by studying the well-acclaimed Meisner technique at 'Playhouse West School and Repertory Theater' in Los Angeles, CA. Early in her career, Marie interned with mentor & friend, Emmy-Award winning casting director/producer Robi Reed (Jungle Fever, Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing, For Colored Girls, The New Edition Story) where she gained valuable insight in casting thus enhancing her ability as an actor. Marie has been featured in shows like Criminal Minds, Arrested Development, and CBS' The Doctors. She has been cast in various supporting and lead roles in theater, film, and television. She recently worked as a recurring role, Deanna George, on new television series 'Games People Play' that airs on BET Networks. Marie Stark is the Creator and Host of 'Behind The Small Screen's' digital series where prominent Hollywood producers, writers, directors & casting directors discuss their journeys and aptitude in Hollywood's ever-changing environment.
