Michelle Witton

Michelle Witton is an English/Australian Actor and Producer, working between London and Sydney, Australia with her company, Firebrand Productions. Michelle is also an experienced Intellectual Property and Media lawyer. Following theatre work at Cambridge University, including the comedy revue 'Footlights' Michelle trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (MA) and Guildford School of Acting. Michelle stage credits include Carol in 'Oleanna' and Beatrive Tinsley in 'Bright Star.' Michelle's screen credits include 'The Bill', 'Prince of Hearts,' the short film 'In Sight' by Bafta award-winning director Asitha Amereskere and TV comedy series 'Dr Willoughby' starring Joanna Lumley. Michelle is a member of BAFTA and of the UK's Development Producers Group, a former Executive Committee member of the UK's New Producers Alliance (1998-2010) and an Alumni (2006) of LA's Act One Screenwriting Programme. Firebrand Production's screen projects in development include 'The Vienna Boys' and 'Ebensberg'.
