Ruslan Poptsov

Ruslan Stoner (born Ruslan Poptsov), otherwise known by his rapper stage name Homeboy Rus, was born to Russian-Jewish immigrant parents from Baku, Azerbaijan, and moved to the United States at the age of three. Rus grew up in Brooklyn and attended LaGuardia, a high school with graduates such as Al Pacino and Nicki Minaj. Right after attending Penn State University for business, Rus dropped out freshman year to pursue a full-time career as an actor and self-made hip-hop artist mogul. He has founded Supreme Entertainment Records in 2015, only after independently releasing his first studio album in almost all major online outlets in 2013. 'Fresh Urban City Kid The Mixtape' (F.U.C.K. The Mixtape) took Homeboy Rus almost four years to produce since his first freestyles in college. While working on his first studio album masterpiece, Rus has also been starring in various roles in popular television shows and film. After joining the popular actors union SAG-AFTRA Rus has appeared with lines in the popular short film 'Lucky Day' directed by Hyojin Lin. He is now working on his first music video premier and growing his record label while allowing other artists to believe that a career in music and film is very possible. His background in both hip-hop and acting is enough to let anybody cast this soon-to-be widely known entertainer in any new upcoming films seen in our theaters today. Hollywood definitely has a big eye on Rus for his next few installments, whether it be for a movie, or stage show.
