Alaine is often willing to help others in their filmmaking endeavors, no matter the job. Her experience in nearly every department of production has led to her being an asset to many independent projects, cutting her teeth as a Co-Producer on the action film Kickboxer: Vengeance, starring Dave Bautista, Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Georges St-Pierre. In addition, she obtained a scholarship to study acting with Harvard Professors from the world-renowned Moscow Arts Theatre School during their Intensive Program in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mentored by award-winning producer/writer/director Dimitri Logothetis (p.g.a), Alaine has worked on film productions in several countries, including Thailand, the USA, and Canada, of which she is a citizen. Alaine was a part of the first multicultural sorority on the University of Alabama Campus (DXP). and earned an interdisciplinary degree in Environmental Science, Religious Studies, and Multimedia. Huntington believes that film can change the world by creating solidarity and unity, thus living that mission in her personal life, as well as in her volunteer and work engagements. Alaine has volunteered, led teach-ins, and collaborated with over 25 organizations, focusing on environmental restoration, human rights, disability/homeless advocacy, and social change. Most notably, alongside inventor of the first solar-powered car, Dr. Ed Passerini, Dr. PK Sharma of Heal the Children, marine toxicologist Dr. Riki Ott, and civil rights attorney Luke Fontana, Professionally, Alaine is the former media director and outreach coordinator for FOCUS Foundation, a non-profit focusing on assisting the formerly incarcerated, based in Oklahoma City. Huntington also produced events for the #J4J scholarship fund, the Maria Ortiz Military Veteran Scholarship fund, in addition to being a founding member and producer of the Louisiana Rainbow Film Festival, offering platforms for all voices, to be heard.
