Bryan Master is an award-winning seasoned Songwriter, Composer, Musician & Producer proudly affiliated with SESAC, and represented by CAA & Granderson Des Rochers, LLP. Most recently, his work on Audible Original series "Can You Dig It?: A Hip-Hop Origin Story with Chuck D" earned him 5 Signal Awards (1 for Best Original Score, as Composer), 3 Ambie Award Nominations (1 for Best Original Score, as Composer) and a spot on Audible's "Best of 2023" list. The show, which he Executive Produced with Hall of Famer Chuck D (and composed the score, co-created/co-wrote) was submitted by Audible for GRAMMY consideration. Master is known primarily for his unique niche and leading edge - as an Audio Producer, Creator and Score Composer - in the 'Audio-first' space, taking podcasts and scripted/immersive audio series to a new level of sonic experience and production quality. He is currently Executive Producing the Post-Audio & composing his 15th scripted audio series for the Audible Originals platform. Bryan was behind one of Audible's most-successful titles-to-date, James Patterson's "The Coldest Case", which has been nominated/won Webby, Audie and Lovie Awards and which he is currently in-production on Season 2. Having spent the first portion of his career as a touring and recording singer-songwriter, he was fortunate to have called both New York City and Los Angeles prior homes. Honing his chops and chasing dreams in the true DIY spirit, he released three independent albums and got to work alongside legendary industry greats as Journey's Steve Perry, session greats Phil Chen, Waddy Wachtel, Charley Drayton and Bob Glaub, and artists such as Liz Phair, Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers, Foo Fighters), Jordan Zevon, Jonny Polonsky & producer/mentor Evan Frankfort. He would achieve radio airplay in markets like Austin, Philadelphia and Los Angeles, and came very close to signing with ATO Records, two times! Bryan's 'second act' took him behind-the-scenes, opting to trade in the stage for the creative freedoms of cross-genre composition & production in the recording studio. Shifting from a performing songwriter to a composer allowed him to focus on the creative process: the limitless boundaries of composition, recording and production and the marriage of sound and vision. In that spirit, SOUND+FISSION, was created: a full-service boutique music house anchored in custom/original Music, Post-Audio Production and Creative Audio Services. Master and his SOUND+FISSION team spent two years (2015-2017) in Pre-production on Warner Bros.' forthcoming 'Minecraft Movie', as the composing team attached to then-Director (and long-time friend), Rob McElhenney (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia). The team worked in a bottom's-up capacity, with the music as a core component - intended as a core fabric of the film's gestation and even informing the production. Through various rounds of concepting unique & otherworldly musical palettes and Previs rounds, the teams' efforts came to an abrupt halt when McElhenney parted ways with the project. Much of Bryan's original composing work has found a consistent home across the Saturday morning slate of educational, procedural and family-centric programming produced by Hearst Media Production Group, on NBC, CBS, ABC and the CW. Bryan is currently working in a Producer-capacity, co-creating & developing original IP, for production as audio-first projects that are being shopped to distribution platforms & producing records for emerging artists.
