Mark Faulk is a filmmaker, journalist, author, songwriter, and activist. Faulk has worked in a variety of mediums, first as a visual artist, then as a songwriter and producer (writing songs for several Off-Broadway productions, and co-writing with former Color Me Badd lead singer Bryan Abrams, among others), before eventually becoming a journalist, author, and filmmaker. Faulk, the author of The "Naked Truth: Investing in the Stock Play of a Lifetime", has been covering politics and financial fraud since early 2004, and was one of the very first writers to warn about the dangers of corruption on Wall Street. On March 19, 2004, in his very first article on his website faulkingtruth.com, entitled "Financial Terrorism in America", Faulk said: "In the end, this practice amounts to financial terrorism against the United States." The phrase "financial terrorism" has come to epitomize the culture of greed and manipulation that dominates Wall Street. Mark Faulk has written over 150 articles on financial fraud. His articles have been reprinted or excerpted in major publications, including The Huffington Post and Financial Wire, and financial journals such as the prestigious Capco Journal of Financial Transformation. He has made numerous appearances on television and logged hundreds of hours in radio interviews. His work as an activist and writer eventually led him to New York City, where he was the writer, associate producer, and assistant director on the documentary "The Wall Street Conspiracy", released in the spring of 2012. He traveled to Washington DC to raise visibility for the issue. He exposed the corrupt hedge funds, the media controlled by Wall Street, and the failures of the SEC, NASD, and our elected officials to address catastrophic problems in our financial system. And all along, Faulk warned everyone who would listen that if regulators and elected officials didn't deal with the problem the end result would be economic collapse. In July of 2005, he coined the phrase "Wall Street vs. Main Street", which would eventually be repeated in nearly every major publication in America. Faulk was heavily involved in the Occupy Wall Street Movement throughout the Midwest. His work with Occupy and his resume' as a political activist, filmmaker, and writer eventually landed him on the TSA's No Fly List. He continues to cover the issue of financial fraud as a writer, and is currently working on his next film project.
