Background -- Devidasan's father was a stage and cine artist in his days. He has given life to many memorable characters in movies like Neelakuyil, Bhoomiyile Maalakha, Nirmalyam, Thenthulli, Raajan Paranja Kadha, Kanalaattam and so forth. He was also a prominent voice actor having depicted various voice dramas and have given life to several lively characters in several dramas through his creative writing ventures. His name was (late) Kozhipurath Narayana Menon, lovingly called Naanu. In all the works he published he called himself Devidasan. He was the son of (late) Dr. Chelanat Achuthamenon, one of the most noted names in Malayalam literature. Film Credits -- Devidasan has directed the movie "Maharaja Talkies" starring Mukesh, Urvassi, Vijayaraghavan, Harishree Ashokan and several other. The movie garnered extensive positive feedback at the box office and emerged a success. Prior to that he has done screenplay and direction for the movie "Rainbow". Rainbow was a full length family entertainer with a hint of drama to shake things up. His debut in the Malayalam film industry was through the movie "Priyam Priyankaram" for which he had taken the creative lead in visualizing the story, screenplay as well as direction of the film.
