Michael Omidi, also known as Dr. Michael Omidi, is double-board certified in both General Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Omidi achieved his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from California State University, Los Angeles and graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis University, School of Medicine with his doctoral degree. Dr. Omidi further went on to distinction with residencies at University of Illinois, Chicago and Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was Chief Resident for General Surgery. After serving his residency, Dr. Michael Omidi went on to complete an entire training program in general surgery for credentialing and served as a Fellow in Plastic Surgery at University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey and Miami Children's Hospital/University of Miami where he was a Fellow in Craniofacial Surgery. Michael Omidi and his brother Julian Omidi were featured on several episodes of the E! Television show "Dr. 90210." Michael Omidi has always been passionate about pro bono and charity work, even traveling overseas to provide pro bono work for children that suffer from clefts, burns, and traumatic deformities. This is why he, along with his brother Julian Omidi, formed the charitable organization No More Poverty, which works to provide assistance and support to charities that focus their efforts on poverty-related issues among other means of assistance.
