Gavin Webb started his performance career in 2002 in 'The Lion Rampant Medieval Display Society', taking part in medieval dancing, acting in short plays, unchoreographed combat and singing Early music as part of the choir. Gavin then made his amateur dramatic debut as 'Aniello' in Wendover Theatrical Society's production of 'Hotel Paradiso'. This was followed by appearances in 'After Dark, Before Dawn' and as 'Claude Vole' in 'A Sequence of Events'. Gavin appeared as 'Dennis Wickstead' in 'Habeus Corpus' at the Pendley Theatre in Tring and also as 'Buttons' in Halton Amateur Theatre Society's production of 'Cinderella', where the audience included the wife and son of the Prime Minister. In 2011 Gavin played the role of 'Peter' in an award winning 'promenade' production of 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. In 2012 Gavin played the part of The Prince in the first episode of 'Donald Newman - Underachiever (Also Saviour of the Universe). In 2013 he played the part of Senor Basilica in Chesham Theatre Company's production of Terry Pratchett's 'Maskerade' and in 2014 had his directorial debut with the same company, directing 'Dirty Dusting'. From 2004 - 2017 Gavin was also the lead singer of the band 'The Mighty Bard' and co-wrote and sung on their debut album "Blue God and Other Stories", receiving reviews such as "reminiscent of Justin Hayward" and "Gavin Webb's vocals are an acquired taste". Coincidentally, he also shares a birthday with Justin Hayward. Currently, he is working as a freelance set dresser for film and TV productions.
