Barbara McCormick Thomas

Barbara McCormick-Thomas is a comedy writer based in Dallas, Texas. Her films have been screened in festivals throughout the US and the United Kingdom and her plays have been performed locally and in Canada. She has also written for the nationally syndicated top forty radio program, Kidd Kraddick in the Morning. Her single camera comedy FOLLOW ME BACK is in development at Futuregraph Entertainment. Barbara began writing screenplays in 2012. In 2014, her short Copy That premiered in London and starred Claudia Jessie and Robbie O'Neill, who have gone on to roles in the BBC's Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrel. Copy That won Best Comedic Short at the 2015 SOFIE Awards, was an opening night selection at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, and was named Film of the Year at the British International Amateur Film Festival in Kent. In 2017, she formed Lettuce Go Productions to create short films, sketch comedy and digital series.
