Erick Galindo is a 5-time Telly Award winning producer, director and writer known for "The Man Who Saved the Lakers", "Fisica y Quimica" and "A Laker Life." Born and raised in Los Angeles, Erick began his career as a music and pop culture journalist for 8.5 Magazine and the LA Weekly's Real Talk magazine. He was a nationally syndicated columnist for Scripps Howard and Hispanic Link News Service for several years before becoming head of Interactive Content for the LA Daily Newsgroup's SGV branch. After a brief stint covering the 2012 London Olympics for Yahoo!, Erick was a member of multiple Emmy winning staffs at Time Warner SportsNet. He has directed, written, edited and produced on dozens of documentaries, reality TV, short films, and music videos for multiple Grammy winning musicians. Erick is also a winner of the Hollywood Book Festival and the author of "Frank Sinatra: A Biography", and an Amazon bestselling author for his 2016 book of Latino poetry "Beans."
