Flight Lieutenant John (Frenchie) Le Cornu serves in the Royal Air Force as a Qualified Flying Instructor.. He has served on numerous overseas operations since being commissioned in 2001. John has made numerous TV appearances representing the Royal Air Force including the "Paul O'Grady Show" helping to teach a young boy how to marshal an aircraft. Starting on day one of his career, John was filmed for a documentary following Officer Cadets at RAF College Cranwell. Entitled "RAF Cranwell", the documentary was aired in 2002. John was born on the Island of Jersey and was educated at Victoria College. He moved with his family to Fylingdales when he was 16 and after Whitby Community College, took a degree in Astrophysics at York University.
