Melanie Gayle

Melanie Gayle is a Award winning Actress, Comedienne and Talent Agent from London. Mel attended the Barbara Speake Stage School as a child. Her career began in music singing & rapping, she was previously known as CaraMel G. In 2014 Mel started doing stand up comedy, and made it to the Edinburgh Festival in the semi-final of Funny Women Comedy Contest. The following year she won Beffta Awards Best Comedian 2015, then Best Female Comedian in2016. Around the same time Mel revisited acting and secured roles in various theatre productions, short & feature films like 90 Minutes (Simon Baker) & Award winning Butterfly Kisses, which won the Crystal Bear at Berlinale 2017. In 2018 Melanie Gayle Talent was created to represent International diverse talent. Fast forward to 2020 and Mel is very proud to have won 'Breakthrough Actress' at the American Film Awards 2020 & to be nominated 'Entrepreneur of Excellence' at the National Diversity Awards 2020, in association with ITV.
