Tseng Ying-Ting is from Taichung, Taiwan. He obtained an MFA from the Motion Picture Department at the National Taiwan University of Arts. His first TV movie, Ye-Zai (2013), won the Excellent Screenplay Award and the Best Narrative Film at the Golden Harvest Awards. It was also nominated for Best Narrative Feature at Taipei Film Festival and selected for the AsiaPacific Film Festival in 2013.
