Growing up in a family of musicians, Ariel Henrique studied classical piano during his childhood. Ariel's passion for music drove him to work in the music industry as a producer, recording and mastering engineer for a few years. After that experience, he ended up specializing in sound editing and re-recording mix for cinema and television. Since 2010, he's the re-recording mixer and sound supervisor at Cinecolor do Brasil, working on dozens of features, shorts, documentaries and TV Series. Some Key Productions include the Brazilian feature films "Elon Doesn't Believe in Death" - winner of best sound in BIS Festival - and "Rust" - winner of Best Sound Design in 2018's Gramado Film Festival - and some international co-productions such as "The Heiresses" (Paraguay / Brazil / Uruguay / France / Germany / Norway) - winner of 2018's Silver Bear at Berlin Film Festival - and "The Dead and the Others" (Portugal / Brazil) - winner of 2018's Uncertain Regard Jury Prize at Cannes Film Festival.
