Rajinder Kashyap

Rajinder's Career Director, Empaneled Producer, Associate Director, Chief Assistant Director, born in Ambala Cantt, Haryana, August 1962, started his acting career as an actor during his college days in from 1978 to 1981. He won the best actor award at a youth festival in his college. Rajinder has directed theatre production stage plays in youth festival & professional theatre from 1982 to 1985. After 1985, Rajinder started his professional acting career as an artist of Doordarshan Kendra Jalandhar. During this period, he was the main lead of many dramas, telefilms, and regional & national level serials. In 1989, He got a chance to be part of Hindi telefilm for a national telecast entitled Sanshay as an assistant director, which was shot in Delhi and Goa with Bollywood artists. In 1991, Rajinder became Independent Director and directed a lot of short films, based on communal harmony, under different production houses, all of those are telecasted on DD Jalandhar. Rajinder began directing commercials for Kendra of Doordarshan in Jalandhar in 2001. He directed his first film Bhand Punjab de in 2001, the film was produced by T-Series and Jaspal Bhatti Productions. His second film was which was the most popular film. He directed a 2001 New year eve program Punjabian da Raunaq Melafor Lashkara channel. Next good year, He also directed the 2002 New year program Nachiye Nachaiye which was telecasted on DD Punjabi Jalandhar. He has also directed telefilms like Chathu, Uchi addi wali gurgabi, and Eh tera apman for Doordarshan. Directed no. of short films & ad films for Punjab Govt. (Akali Party & Congress party). Also worked as a chief assistant director in several films and serials for DD1 including Afsane, Sanshay, Happy Birthday Tapish, etc.
