If he had rhythm, you could say that he marches to the beat of his own drums. If he were musically inclined, you could say he dances to his own song. If he were adventurous, you could say that he often takes the road less traveled. However, since he is none of those, quirky and weird fit him just fine. Coming from a nerd background of scholastic excellence--used loosely--he's gotten many accolades academically that don't translate at all to the entertainment world. Do you really need to know that he is ranked in California for Academic Decathlon? Or that he is a full International Baccalaureate candidate? Or that in college he took enough units to graduate with three majors? No. No, you do not. But below the charming, witty, and quirky facade exists someone who is still trying to find the last piece of the Maslow's Hierarchy--self-actualization. And it's through the tumultuous journey of trying on different skins that he may find one that fits--not in a creepy serial killer way. None of us belong in one tiny neat box...so why should we live like we are?
