Aya Beldi is a creative soul who at birth began to search for ways to express her talent in painting, dancing, and performing. Her initial audiences were at her home in front of her beloved family, her first and most loving audience. Aya's career began at a young age as she was quickly identified as a talent. At 5 years of age, she was approached by a prestigious company to model. Her first notable campaign occurred at the age of 6 for a national commercial as the face for Israeli chocolate. As she grew older, Aya realized her true love was for the stage. This became her inspiration and she turned her focus and attention to honing her craft. Aya's hard work led to her acceptance at Israel's most esteemed High School for the Arts, Thalma Yellin. Following her successful graduation, Aya decided a change of venues was in order and emigrated to New York to fulfill her goals. It was in New York City, that Aya earned a scholarship at Julliard's drama school. However, she remained focused on her dreams and chose to enroll at HB Studios. She focused on their two-year acting program and was inspired to follow in the footsteps of legendary alumni like Faye Dunaway, Sigourney Weaver and Al Pacino. Aya has further enhanced her abilities under the tutelage of Tony Award winning directors Austin Pendleton and Anne Jackson In 2015, she impressed cinema audiences with her film debut "History of Now" which was directed by the Austrian director Nadiv Molcho and premiered at the Raindance film festival in London. She also starred as the lead of the award winning horror film "Hell's caretaker" which was directed by Phil Cappello. This film was recognized best directing at the LIF festival (2013). Aya has also appeared in the romantic comedy "Playground" directed by Irina Abrahams, and SAG's short "Light up the night"(2014). Aya's stage credits include playing "Ariel" in the Galli theater production "The Little Mermaid", playing "Chava" in "Fiddler on the Roof", as well as the "Mother" in "Requiem" with Necessary I.T.E.M.S project in New York City. Today the talented Aya Beldi divides her time between New York City, Los Angeles, and Israel.
