Filmmaker, Peter Kelly, has worked in many different areas of production including producer, director, key grip, gaffer, prop designer, set dec., and camera team. He has worked as a crew member for major motion pictures, documentaries, commercials, news broadcasts, and television productions. Peter was born in San Antonio, TX in October of 1988 to Scott and Alison Kelly. He has three sisters, two of which are older and the third is five years younger. His father graduated medical school early in Peter's life and the Kelly family moved from San Antonio to Bartlett, TN (a suburb of Memphis), In Kindergarten they moved again to Germantown, Tn (a suburb of Memphis). Peter's mother, Alison, is a very artistic woman and both parents stressed the arts for the children in their household. She often enrolled Peter and his sisters in after-school acting and studio art classes. The Kelly's moved again to Jonesboro, AR during peter's first-grade year, where they stayed for a year and a half before relocating back to San Antonio. Peter and His sister Betsy became in involved in community theater and dance as kids growing up in Texas. It was that way until he reached middle school and began playing Football. He expanded his athletic involvement upon moving to Charleston, MS, a small rural town in the Mississippi Delta. Peter began kicking for his high school football team and received several athletic honors, including All-area punter after kicking over a mile throughout the course of one season. His athletic career came to a screeching halt during his senior year when he tore the ACL in his left knee. He left Charleston and went on to the University of Mississippi where he would major in broadcast journalism. While there, Peter worked for the student news station, NewsWatch, as a camera operator and teleprompter operator. He was hired as a field reporter for the sports department for two weeks before being promoted to sports anchor. He remained a sports anchor for a year and a half. Halfway through Peter's sophomore year, he made the decision to leave Ole Miss and move to Mobile, AL, where he took a year and a half off of school. He later moved to Jackson, MS where he decided to jump back into school. He enrolled at Hinds Community College in Jackson, MS and began playing semi-professional football for the Jackson Juggernauts. Eight games into the season he tore his other left ACL a second time. Continuing with school, he finished that semester and took the following one off. After re-enrolling at Hinds, he graduated Cum Laud in the summer of 2013. He has since moved to Houston, TX where he started Sound Fish Studios, an independent production house focused on narrative and documentary films. In 2015 Peter began working full time as the Director of Photography for FAIR Marketing.
