Mildred Dorothy Unger, a professional dancer, was born on March 16, 1915 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Her father was Edward Philip Unger (1885-1973), a balloonist for the motion picture industry working for Crawford Sanders and an aviator for the government. Mildred's mother was Vera McCune. Her parents were divorced shortly after her birth. Mildred's one minor non-credited acting role was in Bottoms Up (1934), a film in which Lucille Ball was one of twenty-five girls in a chorus line. Her older sister, Ardelle Unger Lester (February 7, 1914 - October 10, 1960), was also a professional dancer. Mildred's brother-in-law was Jerry Lester. Her marriage ceremony on November 30, 1956 with Frederick L. Cavanaugh was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. She died on December 25, 1975 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
