Anastasia Zorin-Machado, a Russian Jew born in Munich, Germany, is the daughter of the Honored Artist of Russia, Ernst Zorin, and Ludmilla Zorin, a Russian language teacher. Anastasia grew up in a world of books, theater, film-making, and travel. When she was five years old, Anastasia's parents enrolled her in a Russian school where her love for the stage grew by performing traditional songs, dances, and folktales at various concerts for the Russian communities of Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. It was then that she started to learn how to play the piano and accompany herself while singing. Following a string of successful acting performances in Europe and garnishing many accolades for her operetta vocals and acting, her range of skills today also include modeling and directing. At the age of 16, Anastasia and her parents moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she continued to evolve in her love for the arts. It was there she had the honor of joining the Coterie Theater ("One of the Five Best Theaters for Young Audiences") as one of their actresses in multiple shows. Wishing for more experience in front of the camera, she decided to attend film school when she turned 18. At the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, School for Film and Television, she was trained in all areas of that field and fell madly in love with not just in front of the camera but the production side of things, as well. Following her graduation, Anastasia was hired by the Galli Theater, a New York based German children's theater, to be not only one of their main actresses but also work as one of their main administrators. This gave her more practice on the business side of things. Simultaneously, she continued her relentless pursuit as a vocalist in all three languages: Russian, German and English. She then decided to go back to school and graduated with Honors from Adelphi University in New York. The time had come to make a move to LA. Her breakout role as Giselle on the hit TV series "My Crazy Ex" (2016) catapulted her onto the short list of television's hottest upcoming young actresses. This led the young performer on a trail of accumulating notable roles, attention, and professional status. She continued to appear in selective minor roles, showcasing her versatility on and off screen. This included her appearance on the TV series "In the Rough" (2017) as well as the critically acclaimed YouTube Red Series "Escape the Night", in the role of Madison Jones. She quickly followed that endeavor with a leading role opposite Vinicius Zorin-Machado (today), where they met and instantly fell in love. They have since continued working together non-stop. "Growing stronger as an actress has never been easier next to such an encouraging, loving partner", Anastasia says. It's no surprise that the couple has garnished new success with their family-owned full-service production company titled, "Zorin-Machado, Inc." and are rapidly becoming the predominant leaders of independent film making for a new generation of moviegoers. Their moto is "A mission not so impossible, if you believe". In 2018, she debuted in her first feature film in the manic thriller Mollywood. Momentum Pictures picked up the movie and the actress went on to collecting some recognition with raves and promising credibility as an upcoming star. Director Morocco Vaughn, commended her for her ability to switch on and off without any warning. Her work ethic and talent stand on their own, with a commanding presence. Producers say she's definitely someone to keep an eye on. Anastasia is a cornucopia of talent, a self-admitted work aholic who has had no problem establishing herself as a contender. Her good looks and charisma make her an instant multi-cultural sensation. Her resume is continually being updated as her dedication to her craft is ongoing. Her father taught her that it's all about the "how". With that, Anastasia is not afraid to choose challenging, complex, and dark roles. Hailed by directors as: "Stellar, with piercing eyes", "a feat of talent, behind that beautiful smile", "as profound as her range". She's got global appeal which easily translates into a wider audience.
