His path to becoming a filmmaker was laid out for him before he fully understood it would be his destination. He began writing in the form of songs and poems at the age of eleven. Music always served as a pulse that kept Michael existing. Over the years he began conceptualizing unique story lines and characters for his songs. Michael started gaining experience in TV production while still in high school. It was there where he got his true first taste of writing, directing, acting, and producing. Years later Michael took those skills and launched a TV show by the name of Swagger TV. Swagger TV was locally broadcast in Charlotte, NC, but Michael's ingenuity led him to push the envelope further. Michael came up with the idea to put his TV show online for the world to see. Years later Michael turned that TV show into the world's first online Urban Media Network. Viewers globally logged on to watch an array of original programming that Michael picked to be streamed. With years of experience in writing and production Michael then chose to take his craft to the next level by enrolling in film school. It was there where he realized that his true calling was to be a filmmaker. The path he'd chosen provided him with the experience necessary to become a highly sought after independent filmmaker. Understanding Audio/video production, storytelling, and leading a team are all qualities that separates Michael from others early in his filmmaking career.
