Aidan Carberry was born in Los Angeles and began his training at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. He went on to attend the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, where he fell in love with the art of choreography. He has been mentored by William Forsythe, co-created work with Emma Portner and was commissioned to create a solo for Benja-min Millepied's company, LA Dance Project. Aidan also co-founded the LA-based company JA Collective which earned second-place honors at the Capezio Ace Awards and is now creative directing for the band Half Alive. Which just performed on Jimmy Kimmel. He plays with his experience in multiple forms and movement practices to create intricate improv patterns and choreographic sequences. Aidan now resides in Long Beach as a director/choreographer/editor.
