Adrian "Adriano" Scott has acted in a series of Latin American films, starting with the Sundance Film Festival International Drama Competition selection, The Wind and the Water. More recently he shared a scene with Robert De Niro in the film Hands of Stone, directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz. He also had a major role in Historias del Canal, where he was directed by Abner Benaim. Early on, he attended the St. Thomas Choir School in New York, where he sang in the world premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem, starring Placido Domingo and Sarah Brightman. He later performed in the New York City Ballet's production of Sleeping Beauty. He studied at American Conservatory Theater's Studio ACT program for several years in San Francisco, California. He also studied improvisation at Bay Area Theatresports in SF, including their Summer School with Keith Johnstone. He was a regular on the Telemetro channel's Saturday night broadcast TV comedy show, QuienTV. He appeared in more than 20 episodes, including playing the lead role in "La Selva de Cemento" (The Cement Jungle). He has also appeared in other broadcast TV shows, including La Cascara. He is based in Panama, with regular trips to California, Colombia and Mexico. He is fluent in Spanish, and speaks several other languages. In scripted theater, he most recently performed in Glengarry Glen Ross. He performs improvisational theater regularly in Spanish, including with the group he founded, InLibreto, and at Panama's First Improv Festival. His Instagram is @AdrianoDirector.
