Born in Co Louth, Ireland, Anthony is a graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London. Anthony also trained a year part time with the Gaiety School of Acting, Dublin & 2 years full time with the Bull Alley Theatre Training Company, Dublin. He completed the Louise Kiely Casting ACTING FOR SCREEN course in 2019 and the Acting for Film & TV Level 2 Course in Filmbase, Dublin in 2012. Anthony is currently Artist-in-Association at Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda, for 2021. Anthony has been fortunate enough to have gained some notable credits over the last few years - such as: JW O'Keeffe in Conversations With Friends (Dir: Lenny Abrahamson; Element Pictures); Skeevy Steevie in Harry Wild (Dir: Rob Burke; Acorn TV); Garda Officer in KIN (Dir: Diarmuid Goggins/Tessa Hoffe; Bron Studios); Brian in Locked In (Dir: Leah Rossiter; Screen Ireland/Bow St - premiered at Galway Film Fleadh 2021); John in A Day in May (directed by Gerry Stembridge; written by Colin Murphy, based on the book by Charlie Bird), which went on a national tour April 2019; Phil Rogers in Red Rock; French Sentry in season 3 of Vikings; Zangara in Rough Magic SEEDS Assassins; Jim in the 2019 Catch Chocolate campaign; the Boy Racer in No Nonsense.ie commercials on TV & radio & reccurring character presenter Seánín Milseán in The Beo Show for RTEjr. Anthony a Performer/Producer with the North East-based multi-roling, physical theatre company Quintessence Theatre (Theatre Company-in-Residence of Droichead Arts Centre, Drogheda, 2019-2020 and in Theatre Company-in-Residence of An Táin Arts Centre, Dundalk, 2015-2019). In Autumn 2016, Anthony co-created & appeared in Cracks with Quintessence Theatre (in association with An Táin Art Centre). With Cracks, Quintessence Theatre had successful 17 venue, island-wide Tour of Cracks in Sept/Oct 2018 (in conjunction with the Arts Council & the Arts Council of Northern Ireland). Quintessence will also be taking their acclaimed comedy The Star of Chester's Lane on an National Tour in Winter 2021. Anthony also recently appeared as the lead character Matt in Quintessence Theatre's digital play Behind Locked Doors, which was the most viewed event of the Drogheda Arts Festival 2021. Some of Anthony's other notable credits with Quintessence include: Sam/Various in The Curious Case of Albert Cashier (due to tour in 2022); Sean Synnott in #Me Too, Three, Four; Boy in Boy, Girl, Repeat; Ailill/Dáire in Warrior of the Táin; Van Helsing/Dracula in Dracula (which headlined the Drogheda Arts Festival 2017 & had a successful run on the Main Stage in Smock Alley for Halloween Week 2018) ... among others.
