For over 15 years Robin Hunzinger has directed documentary films on such subjects as war, memory, the unthinkable man sometimes contends with, and nature. After studying History and the History of Fine Arts in Strasbourg University, Robin Hunzinger took on a course on the Cinema at Jussieu, Paris, with Jean Rouch and Bernard Cuau. In 1993, while at Sarajevo, he wrote his first film. Among his main works are : "Closing your Eyes", "Où sont nos amoureuses" and "Notre Camarade Tito". His films have been presented in numerous festivals: at the Paris Cinéma du réel festival, the Lussas documentary films festival, the Rotterdam international film festival, but also the Thessaloniki, Beyrouth, FIGRA festivals. He was awarded a star by the SCAM twice: in 2007 and 2008; he received the Traces de Vie 2008 festival grand prix, and the Ahmed Attia Award at the MEDIMED festival in 2011. Besides his career as a documentary film maker, Robin Hunzinger produces documentaries on air for France Culture and Arte.radio.com. He also produces the ERR Edition.
