G. Hunter

Canadian Filmmaker, Zee G. Hunter began making films in 2005. He has been compared to Warhol, Brakhage, and Lynch. Fiercely independent, relentlessly creative, his films push the boundaries of what film, art, and life are. Primarily active in Alberta, his productions have screened and sold around the world. He has appeared on the TV show Wynonna Earp, and in Herschell Gordon Lewis' Bloodmania. Z is also a dedicated academic, with 2 BAs (Religious Studies, and Film Studies) and a BFA (Hons) (Visual Studies) as of 2022. Described by one OG collaborator: "Zee is fearlessly persistent in his calling to make art, and has a pitbull-like devotion to his dreams in all their wild forms. He's a multi-faceted creative, a dreamer with precision and a pocket full of motherboards and software and magic. He's a shapeshifter remix of trickster, songbird, chupacabra, and hunter-warrior."
