Dr Fiona-Jane Brown is a historian and author. She is also the founder of Hidden Aberdeen Tours, Aberdeen's premiere walking tour company. Unique to this Northeast Scotland city, a small selection of the tours involved street theatre, each playlet written by Dr Brown, often in the local Scots dialect. She has been a guest presenter on STV's "The People's History Show" as a result of her expert knowledge of local history. Her authorship of two Holmesian pastiches "The Adventure of the Jacobite Rose" and "The Affair of the Contentious Contralto" lead to involvement in the long-running "No Place like Holmes" web series. She also produced the award-winning short "No Ladies Please" in 2018.
