Rebecca Chalon hails from Perth, Western Australia and is currently based in Vancouver, Canada. A former Miss World Western Australia, Rebecca has a string of accomplishments to her name in modelling, acting, singing and publicity industries. Among these achievements are a Daytime Emmy Award, a Telly award, a DV award, and being 1st runner up on the groundbreaking TV show The Fashion Hero Season 1, where she advocates for change and diversity in the fashion and entertainment industries. Rebecca's talent and passion for all the dramatic arts will see her go far in the entertainment industry. Not one to shy away from opportunity, the film industry enthusiast has spent time in several different departments for major productions such as iZombie, Man in the High Castle, and the Hallmark movie franchise. She believes in order to be a well rounded actress it is in her best interest to learn as much as she can from all cast and crew members. Rebecca's job of choice on set is acting, but she loves being on set in any capacity. As charity and contributing to the community is another of Rebecca's passions, she has been an ambassador for Life Education's Ocsober initiative and the Foxtel lap for the Sarah Murdoch Children's Research Institution, and was a regular volunteer with Young Vinnies Youth initiatives such as participating as a camp leader in Australia. Now that she has relocated to Vancouver, Rebecca has found roots in the University Womens Club Vancouver at Hycroft Manor. She first came across the organisation while on location filming Man in the High Castle. The group gives her a place to grow and learn from other driven women, as well as contribute to the community through various philanthropic ventures. Rebecca is a heartfelt singer/songwriter and has released originals and collaborations. Her songs range from jazz, alternative, to pop and R&B. You can find her work on iTunes climbing the charts. Currently she is working on her first original album as a Songster Studio artist under Andrew Van Slee - who is known for his work producing world famous crooner Michael Buble. An active social media user, your best bet with keeping up with this ever busy and compassionate artist is through her Instagram, twitter, and Facebook pages @RebeccaChalon. 2019 is set to be big for Rebecca, with hopes that it will be her breakout year, with several feature films, an album, season 2 of global series The Fashion Hero, and more already on the cards. A YouTube channel where you can catch exclusives of her projects and get a peek into her life is also in the pipeline. At her core she is a very giving person who loves and appreciates her supporters, and as such she shares her experiences - both vulnerable and empowering. Rebecca wants to inspire dreams and ambition, and we can't wait to see what she does next! *last update December 2nd 2018.
