Shannon Reis

Shannon Reis grew up in Southern California where she studied acting. She and her husband relocated to Georgia twelve years ago with their three beautiful daughters. Originally Shannon pursued an acting career here in Atlanta. She has always professed to have thrill issues, and is very proud of her stunt credits in the feature film Bleed(Chelsey Crisp, Riley Smith and Michael Steger). She was a prominent headshot photographer in Atlanta, but her passion has always been behind the camera in producing and casting. She interned for a producer and fell in love with the casting process. She started her casting company Shannon Reis Casting to fill the casting needs of the independent film community in Atlanta. She was featured in an article for Backstage.com. She cast several award-winning shorts and features including the indie drama Still (Madeline Brewer, Lydia Wilson, Nick Blood,) shot here in Georgia. The Journeyman (Jay Mohr) Ends (Priah Ferguson) Washington and Vine (Gavin Leatherwood) and Honk for Jesus. Save your Soul (Patrick Decile) an Issa Rae presents short. Shannon is incredibly proud of the work she did casting 5 pilots for Sony/PlayStation's Emerging Filmmaking Program such as Two Roads with Madison Bailey(Outer Banks) and Jennifer Bareilles. Shannon is the casting director for numerous commercials, industrials, and new media for companies such as Fresh Empire, Costco, Nascar, Rolex, Home Depot, Coca-Cola, Pantene, Shell, Hershey's, Wonder Bread, Mercedes, and SunTrust Bank etc
