Brandon Alan Crowson is a Minneapolis based independent filmmaker and content creator. He graduated Minneapolis Community and Technical College in 2012 with a Production Certificate and an Associates in Screenwriting. While attending college Mr. Crowson utilized online tutorials to expand his skills in After Effects as well. Brandon started doing freelance video production and ad writing work while in college. Working with several clients in the Twin Cities area Brandon made the leap to full-time self employment in 2014. In addition to writing and producing ads for businesses in the Twin Cities area, Brandon was a paid screenwriter for End Time Harvest Production from 2014-2017, crafting feature length documentary and narrative series scripts. In 2015 he crowdfunded a budget of over $21,000 to make his first feature length film, a documentary about the life and death of his favorite rapper, The World Has No Eyedea. The documentary sold out art-house theaters all over the U.S. and some overseas before releasing on DVD and streaming platforms in 2016. In 2018 Mr. Crowson self funded his 2nd feature length film, an action film titled The Diabolical Schemes of Thadeus Jackson. During it's film festival tour The Diabolical Schemes of Thadeus Jackson won nine awards in three countries including three "Best Film" awards. The Diabolical Schemes of Thadeus Jackson was made available on DVD and streaming platforms everywhere in September of 2021. Mr. Crowson traded the excitement of freelance video production for the stability of a desk job, but spends his time aggressively pitching his next feature length project.
