Alina Vergara (born Alina Beverly Vergara-Hegi) grew up in Southern California as a bold and bubbly beach girl with big dreams who always stayed in touch with her passionate Argentine roots. She attended the Southern Orange County School of the Arts at Dana Hills High School where she majored in Theatre and minored in Choir. She then got accepted into the theatre program at the University of Southern California where she majored in Dramatic Arts and minored in Spanish and psychology. During her time in college, she starred in many student films and was appointed Vice President of her sorority, Pi Beta Phi. She graduated with honors from USC in 2013. After graduation, she found her "day jobs" at production companies, behind the scenes of films, and at networks such as Fox Broadcasting Company in order to learn more about the industry while she pursued acting. She was cast in several short films and, for some reason, always seemed to be cast in horror feature films as the character who dies the goriest death, despite being too afraid to watch scary movies in real life. For fun, you can find Alina climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro with her brothers, volunteering as a group leader for her high school's marine ecology annual field study in Mexico, or practicing as a certified love and intimacy coach and matchmaker at her company, Ace of Hearts!
