Raeshelle Cooke

Raeshelle Cooke is an Award-winning Filmmaker & founder of production company RMC Picture; she writes about the many misadventures of love, with music and/or spoken word often leading the narratives. In 2015 Sometime Around January [2015] was nominated for Best Short Film at the Shawna Shea Film Festival. In 2016, Mt. Washington [2016] was nominated for Best Indie Film at the LA Film Awards, and in 2014 she won Best Newcomer for her first independent short film Monae's Room [2014] at the Shawna Shea Film Festival; the same film won Best Genre Blend at the Stories by the River Film Festival that same year.
