Damir Radic was born in 1966 in Zagreb, Croatia (then part of Yugoslavia). He earned degrees in History and Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. He is an awarded poet and film critic, and has made about twenty experimental films and experimental documentaries. He lives with his wife and creative assistant Sanja Ribicic Radic (Sanja RR). Together they made the documentary "Mima and Marta - An Activist Love Film" (2012).
