Maryam Hashemi

Maryam Hashemiis an Iranian-British artist and performer based in Hackney Wick ,London .Her style of work is based on her upbringing in Iran during 80s and her everyday colourful life on an old Dutch barge. She moved to the UK in 2002 and after settling she explored being on the stage and in front of camera also doing live art. Her focus on her paintings but enjoys working in all fields. Her recent project was creating original artworks for Capital (2015) mini series by Kudosproduction company for BBC1 that was aired in Novemener 2015.
