Jane L. Fitzpatrick

Jane L. Fitzpatrick - Executive Producer/Writer/Broken Hand Productions. Jane has been a writer for more than 30 years, including creative writing, business writing and blogging. Over her career, she has Founded, owned & operated several businesses. Jane Co-Founded the companies, Spirit Wind Films, LLC and Broken Hand Productions, LLC. Her screenplay, Sacajawea, The Windcatcher, was Nominated and Selected for Best Period Piece, at the Action On Film International Film Festival in 2013. Jane has worked as a Production Assistant on the film Deadly Sanctuary and an Associate Producer on the family-friendly movie, A Horse for Summer. She continues to build her film experience through all stages of production, and creating, developing and writing screenplays. Recently, she created a children's TV series entitled Moon Drake that uses the popular animation technique of Anime, coupling it with inspiration and relevant truths from the Earth. In related projects, Jane is writing Pomp, a miniseries based on Sacajawea's son, Jean Baptiste Charbonneau. Jane has also written the spec script entitled, Kimama's Wings, a Spirit-centered family screenplay. She has written and published the children's book, The Grass Maiden, Sacajawea, for which she painted the artwork, she completed a preteen novel, Crabtree, a fantasy thriller, being developed for film and a children's book entitled, Petunia the Pink Tyrannosaurus Rex, among other projects.
