Helen Lyons-Curran is a director known for Delicacy (2014), and Ends Meat (2018). Born in Manchester, England, It was watching Carole Reed's Oliver! at the age of nine that inspired her to make films. Delicacy (2014), a grim WWII short, went on to earn nine nominations and win five awards including a Royal Television Society North West Award for Best Student Drama, and Best Cinematography at the US Hollywood International Film Festival 2015. Ends Meat (2018), premiered as part of Grimmfest 2018. The thirty minute movie tells the story of a taxi driver with a wicked secret. Helen is now in pre-production on Choke (2019), a gritty British drama, and horror comedy Hebe (2021).
