In the bloodiest military campaign in America's involvement since the war started, he fractured his left ankle in a clearing operation; moving from compound to compound. After returning to the states, he pursued his film making career by attending The New York Film Academy in Burbank CA; where he would act, produce, and direct his own successful films.
