Born in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York in 1960. raised on the music of The Beatles and rock and roll radio. Pirate radio exploits on radio stations WFAT and WCPR as Disk Jockey Hank Hayes served as the inspiration for the motion picture character "Happy Harry Hardon" in "Pump Up The Volume."
