Born in Bryn Mawr, PA to Michael R. and Jeannette T Taylor, Selina grew up in Broomall with her younger brother, Michael Jr.. From a young age, Selina had a love of dancing and was fortunate to spend time with Chief Halftown and Al Alberts, both mainstays of Philadelphia area children's TV. After a brief stint on the pageant circuit, Selina was managed under Edie Robb and spent time in New York City, as well as Philadelphia. It was in high school that Selina fell in love with genetics and after graduating from Widener University, she has since focused her career on helping those in need through the American Red Cross.
