Born in a small suburb of Maryland, L Morgan Lee is an actress and singer, best known for her work on the New York stage. She received an OBIE award for her performance in the Pulitzer Prize winning show, A Strange Loop, Off-Broadway - which made Lee the first openly transgender actress to originate a role in a Pulitzer Prize winning show. That performance also earned her a Lucille Lortel Award nomination. Her favorite quote is "She needed a hero, so that's what she became."
