Jimmy C. Jules, the oldest of two children, was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. During the late 80"s, his family migrated to the United States, In search of a better life. Unable to obtain a visa for young Jimmy C., they were forced to leave one child behind. He lived with his grandmother for less than a year, before President Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier was overthrown and chaos erupted in the country. His parents moved heaven and earth to get their son out of Haiti and flown to the U.S. Once the family was reunited, they lived together in Medford, MA. Where Jimmy C. and his younger brother were raised. Jimmy C. was 13 years old when he first picked up a hand-held camcorder and began working on several short horror film projects with his friends. By his late twenties, his focused had then shifted more towards the music side of the entertainment world. On Feb 25th 2006, Jimmy C. (who went by the name: J. Jewels), put together the first ever New England Idol competition, in his home town of Medford, Mass. With a career that began as a Videographer turned Disc Jockey, Record producer, show M.C., Jimmy C. blossomed into a mature Full-Fledged Entrepreneur with unique ideas for branding, marketing and promotion. Jimmy C., a man ahead of his time decided to combined his love for music and video, by producing the first one of a kind, youtube reality tv, series called "The Studio". On March 12, 2007, he uploaded the first episode of the series, followed by several weekly short episodes. Showcasing daily life in the office, his recording studio, staff, clients marketing tactics and more. Jimmy C.'s first official brush with the Hollywood world of acting came in 2009, when he was booked as an extra on "Four Single Fathers". By January 2010, Jimmy C. had made the life altering decision of closing down his recording studio enterprise, and leave behind the music business, in order to focus on developing his acting skills. He began pursuing the arts by signing up for classes, and training at Media Performance Institute. In 2019, Jimmy C. was hired for two months as a stand in/Photo double, on Rian Johnson's 'Knives Out' movie. He embraced the opportunity to work with the director, and learn from the star studded cast which included Daniel Craig, LaKeith Stanfield, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martel and more. Jimmy C. Jules, has since booked the lead and supporting roles on several shorts, and indie projects. Currently (March 3rd, 2021), he is training on a on-going basis with James Dumont of DuMont Entertainment Group, working on film self tapes techniques, and also with Anthony Robert Grasso of ARG Studios focusing on TV Audition techniques for series regular, guest star and co-star.
