Noelle Figueroa

Noelle Figueroa is a Miami-based Afro-Latina writer, producer, actress, and director. She was born in Harlem, New York where she began as an actress, but soon started writing and producing to create work that tells authentic stories about her community. She is known for witty, genuine dialogue and her ability to write between genres for both television and film, including comedy, horror, drama, and coming-of-age stories. Her feature horror script, John 8:44, generated industry buzz as a semi-finalist in ScreenCraft Horror Competition (2019) and as a quarter-finalist in Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards (2019), Fresh Voice (2019-2020), and Creative World Awards (2019). Her drama feature, WTF Am I Doing? is in post-production and will be released in (2023). It chronicles a college student's attempts to lift his family out of hardship by entering the treacherous world of cocaine distribution, facing temptation around every corner. In addition to being the writer, she served as the co-director and producer. She is currently developing a family drama for television called Middle Sister. When not writing, she enjoys traveling with her toddler son, spending time with friends and family, and dreaming up her next big project at the beach.
