Kenton Blythe is a Toronto based actor and singer. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Kenton got his start on stage in the Alberta High School One Act Festival, winning awards at both the Zone and Provincial levels. Kenton continued his passion at the Citadel Theatre's Young Musical Company for two seasons. Kenton then moved to Toronto to study at the Randolph Academy where he starred as the title role in Cyrano de Bergerac. He has found success since graduation, being cast in several musicals, television shows, and films around the greater Toronto area. These credits include pilots, commercials, and an educational mini-series. In his first professional production, he starred alongside original cast members in a revival of Evil Dead: The Musical, produced by Starvox Entertainment and Jeffrey Latimer Entertainment. Kenton had the opportunity to play both Ed and Moose as well as understudy the role of Ash. After Evil Dead's closing in January 2014, Kenton was hired as a company member at the Shaw Festival for the 2014 season in the shows Caberet and Juno and the Paycock. Immediately following his season at the Shaw, Kenton co-produced and starred in his first short film, Looking for Today, which was completed with the help of the Shaw Festival.
