Karen Dadey is known for her role as a Commissioner on the Emmy-winning television series "House of Cards," she reveals her versatile range in several prime time television shows, including her powerful performance as Brookey Lee West on "Evil Kin." Karen was born in Oklahoma and raised in Washington State. Throughout childhood, she dreamed of becoming an actor and earning a college degree. After graduating high school with honors, Karen enlisted in the United States Army then served in combat deployments in Desert Storm and Somalia. While serving in the Army, she attended college classes in the evenings and eventually earned her masters degree. Karen was the first woman to achieve Distinguished Honor Graduate at the Louisiana Military Academy, and she went on to serve as an intelligence officer in the Pentagon as well as in an Afghanistan combat deployment. After she retired from the U.S. Army, she began pursuing her childhood dream as an actor. Karen's goals are to perform a significant role in a major motion picture and appear on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. Karen performs voiceover, film, and theatre acting in Washington, DC, and she serves in local government.
